Brow Pre-Care Instructions

Following these guidelines will help ensure a smooth process and optimal results for your brow enhancement.

  1. Avoid Sun Exposure: Stay out of the sun and refrain from using tanning beds for at least one week prior to your appointment to reduce the risk of skin irritation.

  2. Botox and Facial Treatments: Schedule any botox or facial treatments either 2 weeks before or after your brow procedure.

  3. No Blood Thinners: Avoid aspirin, alcohol, ibuprofen, and certain supplements that thin the blood for 24 hours before your appointment. This helps minimize bleeding and bruising.

  4. Alcohol and Caffeine: Do not consume alcohol or excessive caffeine 24 hours before your procedure to lessen skin sensitivity.

  5. Discontinue Retinoids: Stop using retinoids and vitamin A creams on the forehead and brow area 2 weeks before treatment, as they can heighten skin sensitivity.

  6. No Waxing or Plucking: Refrain from waxing, threading, or plucking your eyebrows for at least one week before. Come with your brows in their natural state; unnecessary hairs will be removed during your appointment.

  7. Medication Disclosure: Inform your technician of any prescription medications you're currently taking.

  8. Post-Accutane Waiting Period: Wait at least one year after stopping Accutane before undergoing brow treatment.

  9. Consultation After Chemo or Radiation: If you've recently undergone chemotherapy or radiation, please consult with your doctor before scheduling your brow treatment.

  10. Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment to keep your skin hydrated.
