Lash Line Pre-Care Instructions
To ensure the best results from your lash line enhancement procedure, please carefully follow these pre-care instructions:
No Lash Growth Serums
Discontinue use of lash growth serums at least one week prior to your appointment.
Avoid Blood Thinners
Refrain from taking blood-thinning medications or supplements such as aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, or vitamin E at least 48 hours before the procedure (unless prescribed by a doctor).
No Alcohol or Caffeine
Avoid alcohol and caffeine 24 hours prior to your appointment, as they can increase sensitivity and bleeding.
Avoid Retinol and Vitamin A Products
Stop using retinol or vitamin A products around the eye area at least one week before the procedure, as they can make the skin more sensitive.
No Lash Extensions
Remove lash extensions at least 2-3 days before your appointment.
Avoid Eye Makeup
Refrain from using eye makeup on the day of your appointment to ensure a clean surface.
Stay Hydrated and Moisturized
Keep the skin around your eyes hydrated by drinking plenty of water and using a gentle moisturizer.
No Botox or Fillers
Avoid Botox or filler treatments around the eye area for at least 2 weeks before or after your lash line enhancement.
Lash LineAftercare Instructions
Proper aftercare is essential to ensure the best results and promote healing after your lash line enhancement procedure. Please follow these aftercare guidelines:
Apply Ice
You may apply ice to the area for the first few hours to reduce swelling. Ensure the ice is wrapped in a towel, and avoid saturating the eyes with water. Sleeping with your head elevated will also help the swelling subside.
Cleaning
Gently clean the area with a damp cotton pad or a sterile saline solution once a day for 5 days. Pat dry with a clean tissue.
Avoid Extra Moisture
Keep the area dry for at least 7 days. Avoid activities that involve moisture, such as swimming, saunas, hot tubs, or excessive sweating.
No Makeup
Do not apply makeup on or around the tattooed area until it is fully healed (approximately 7-10 days).
Avoid Picking or Peeling
Do not pick or peel any scabs or dry skin that forms, as this can cause scarring and uneven pigmentation.
Avoid Sun Exposure
Protect the area from sun exposure. Once healed, apply a high SPF sunscreen to the area to prevent fading.
Moisturize
Apply a thin layer of aftercare ointment once a day for 5 days to keep the area moisturized and support healing.
Follow-Up Appointment
Attend a follow-up appointment (usually 4-6 weeks after the initial procedure) for touch-ups or adjustments if necessary.
Additional Notes
Expect Initial Swelling: Some swelling and redness are normal after the procedure, and they should subside within a couple of days.
Healing Time: The full healing process may take 4-6 weeks, during which the color may appear darker initially and gradually lighten as it heals.
Avoid Irritants: Stay away from products with active ingredients like lash serums, mascara, retinol, alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), or exfoliants around the eye area until fully healed.
If you experience any signs of infection or unexpected reactions, contact your technician or a healthcare professional immediately.
